About Creative Living One AFC
Creative Living One is a licensed Adult Foster Care home thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where residents can truly feel at home. Nestled in a peaceful country setting, our home offers beautiful scenic views and a quiet atmosphere that promotes comfort, relaxation, and well-being.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors on our large deck, where they can take in the surrounding views, fresh air, and changing seasons. We believe access to nature plays an important role in overall quality of life and emotional wellness.
At Creative Living One, we place a strong emphasis on quality living. Residents enjoy homemade meals prepared with Whole Foods ingredients, supporting both nutrition and enjoyment at every meal. Our approach to care focuses on maintaining independence, dignity, and daily routines that support physical and emotional health.
We also provide engaging opportunities for socialization and activity. An activity coordinator regularly visits our home to help residents stay mentally and physically engaged through structured and meaningful activities. Gentle exercise, movement, and participation are encouraged based on each resident’s abilities and preferences.
Our goal is simple: to provide a calm, caring home where residents feel supported, respected, and encouraged to live each day with purpose, comfort, and dignity.

When renovating our home, we incorporated spacious, safe and comfortable rooms that offer privacy and accessibility.
Private Room
Private Half Bathroom
Our most common room is a private room with an attached half bathroom. Each of these rooms has a view to either the east or the west, a closet, and space for up to a queen bed, side table, dresser, chairs and more. The half bathrooms feature a commode with heated seats, bidet, and dryer, wheelchair accessible sink, and plenty of room additional storage.

Our room with an attached full bathroom. The space in this east facing room accommodates up to a queen bed, love seat, chair, dressers and tables. Closets in the living space and the bathroom offer ample storage. The bathroom features a step-in shower and double sink vanity with a door to the hallway and bedroom. Single or double occupancy available. *
Private Room
Semi-Private Bathroom
Our private singles are quiet, comfortable rooms with large closets and space for up to a queen bed, cozy chair, dresser and side table. These two rooms share a bathroom just around the corner. A few steps more and you're in our serene living and dining area; it just feels like you're at home. Available to a single resident at a lower base rate
Couple's Suite
Private Full Bathroom
Our couple's suite is the former primary bedroom. A spacious room with a walk-in closet, bay window, attached bathroom, and sliding glass door that opens to a charming little deck. The bathroom has a double sink vanity, with a bathtub and separate shower. The room and deck will accommodate furniture for two, allowing privacy and comfort to the couple.
Event Kitchen
Semi-private
CLO has two full kitchens. Our central kitchen is used for cooking meals and serving, while this kitchen is used for meal preparations and events. Used by caregivers and residents for cooking or baking activities and demonstrations. And available to families to celebrate special dates or simply spend time together making that favorite recipe. The kitchen is open!
Serene Living Area
Semi-Private
An open concept space, the serene living and dining room provides plenty of seating for families to visit comfortably. Out of the way, it's ideal for relaxing, watching movies, listening to music or reading quietly during the day. Available to residents and families for meetings and events.
Central Living Area
Community
Entering CLO AFC, you are welcomed into the central living area, a spacious multi-purpose room with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Used for activities, fitness, dining, music, TV, entertainment, lounging, and visiting there is always something to do in this bright room.
Central Kitchen
CLO has two full kitchens. Our central kitchen is used for making meals during the day. This is where the nutritious and delicious, scratch-made meals are served up! Using many locally grown ingredients, our meals are aimed to meet the needs and wants of our residents.
Outdoor Space
Community
One of the first things you notice after you arrive at CLO is the long deck that extends the length of the east side of our home and wraps around to the north. Offering plenty of space for outdoor activities. Potted gardening, grilling, sitting in the sun or in the shade of a large umbrella, or bring your patio set up to enjoy your own cozy outdoor space.
